Ways to organise your chaotic creative mind!

Having a creative mind can be a blessing and a curse!
Countless ideas, plans, chores, tasks... the list is endless!
So, here are my top 3 tips to help you organise that beautiful chaotic creative mind of yours!
1. Brain Dump

This is quite a therapeutic exercise and, honestly, pretty similar to journalling. Don't let that discourage you! I'm not saying you need to create a pinterest worthy bullet journal spread here! In fact, I'm encouraging you to do the exact opposite! It doesn't even have to make sense! Although it would be useful if you could.
I use a writing app on my laptop, or I write in one of my many notebooks. Sometimes, it's just a list on a scrap piece of paper or post-it note.
Whatever method best works for you to just get all that information from your brain so that you can 1. remember it and 2. stop stressing about it for two seconds!
2. Master List

For those of you who can't stand the idea of writing every day with the brain dump, then the Master List is for you!
It can be quite intimidating at first, basically creating a giant to-do list. But, once you start assigning tasks to certain days or weeks or even people, it becomes a whole lot less terrifying!
It's particularly helpful for large projects or events (I've been using master lists for moving house and for my wedding)!
3. Stop comparing!

This is something that I will forever be learning, and relearning, and trying to implement!
I look at other people or businesses online and think "What sort of hocus pocus have they pulled to be able to work a full time job, raise a family and have a small business!" or "How on earth have they already made all their Christmas products!" and, most commonly, "How did they have the energy to do all those things!!!".
Recently I read somewhere (and by read I mean saw on TikTok) that everyone has the same number of spoons (stick with me here). For some people it only takes them one spoon to get out of bed, for others getting out of bed uses up 6 spoons. Not all tasks and activities are created equally for everyone. So how can we compare our day with anyone else’s!
I think we all need to remind ourselves that our productivity does not equal our worth!
On that note I'm going to make myself a coffee and try to figure out how many spoons I have left for today!
Until next time xo
